The Erie Playhouse - How to Get to Pittsburgh

Miss Saigon Performance If you love musicals and you happen to be in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, you can see a show at the Erie Playhouse and then skip right over to Pittsburgh.

This is a special place for me, both because I grew up in Erie and because I spent half my childhood singing and dancing in Erie's best community theater.  Tickets to see a Erie Playhouse performance range from 13.25 for students, seniors and children to S21.25 for adults.

With intricate costumes, breathtaking set design and heaps of phenomenal local talent, seeing a show at the Erie Playhouse is a first class way to spend the evening.

And of course, once you're had your fill of humming along to catchy music, make your way back to the best place on earth, Pittsburgh, of course.

Transportation:

By car - This trip will take you around 2 hours and fifteen minutes.  Just long enough for the kids or the grandparents to take a nap in the backseat.

By bus - Costing only $31, this trip will take 3 hours and 31 minutes.  If you take a movie to watch on your laptop, this is an easy ride.  I know, I watched West Wing episodes while making this trip once and the time flew by.
